TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Matte Motif (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or engaging our services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings. The final balance is due 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise stated. Bookings are not confirmed until payment and a signed agreement are received.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date will require payment in full. Rescheduling may be permitted subject to availability and at the discretion of Matte Motif.

All rentals remain the property of Matte Motif. The client assumes responsibility for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required. Replacement or repair costs will be charged at full retail value. Items must be returned in their original condition by the agreed-upon time.

The client is responsible for ensuring proper venue access, setup time, and takedown time. Additional fees may apply for delays, difficult access, or extended setup times. The client must disclose any restrictions or venue requirements in advance.

Matte Motif is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from misuse of rentals or event installations. Children must be supervised at all times around décor, rentals, or installations. The client agrees to hold Matte Motif harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses.

Matte Motif retains creative control over all designs, styling, and installations. We reserve the right to photograph, record, and share images of events for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Matte Motif will not be held liable for failure to perform due to unforeseen events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, accidents, illness, or natural disasters.

By booking with Matte Motif, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
